You may have noticed some small changes going on here at the Lavender Lair.
In trying to align this site with my professional goals, I’m making it more of a “whole package” landing site for all-things-Ada, rather than simply a blog. I feel like that’s how I create, usually…and maybe how everyone creates: I started a blog, thinking I would focus on how burlesque fits into my life…but it slowly (as burlesque moved from the periphery to more of a just-left-of-center stage in my life) changed to a site about Ada as a whole and her…er…my talents. (What is it about my propensity to write in the third person these days?)
I started creating one thing, but it ended up another. This is a metaphor for lots of things in my life.
Anyway. I also changed the name of the site from the blog-friendly, alliteration party “Of Guts & Glitter”, to simply my name and (new) tag line: luscious, leggy, & limber. Another alliteration party, but I think it works!
Another biggie: I bought my domain name, have a fancy-schmancy new email to go along with it, and moved around some of my pages to be more in line with how I want to present myself. It’s still very much a work in progress, but I’m super happy with the direction of things.
Onward!
